    Kriesi support,

Is there anything I can do to make the text block/text editor behave like a code block all the time (even in accordions and tabs)? It is very annoying when HTML codes such as <br> and   disappear after editing something in the text block. Thanks!

    Hi PaintedMidget!

No, unfortunately this is not possible. The textblock element uses the TinyMCE API which always applies the wp_autop filter to the text block as soon as you switch from “Visual” to “HTML” or vice versa or if you close/reopen the textbox modal window.

    Best regards,
    Peter

Bummer. So then is there any way to easily insert vertical spaces or call CSS classes in the visual? I lose so much time whenever I want to insert or change something in the text section because it automatically deletes anything formatting related. Very frustrating.

    Hey!

You can use shortcodes but other than that I don’t know any of any method.

    Devin,
Thanks for the help! I guess right now I’m stuck with using <div>&nbsp;</div> and shortcodes.
