    Hi

    Please could you take a look at

    In the admin panel when you go to a page and attempt to edit a text block no formating options are viewable nor is the visual tab it is just on editor tab. I am running 2.8.1 enfold theme with child theme

    I am running WordPress 3.9

    Please advise

    Hey codecreative!

    Please update Enfold to the latest version 2.9.1 via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750 and update WordPress to the latest version 3.9.1 and issue should be solved. If not, let us know :)

    Hi I have updated both and the issue is still present. Using the very latest version of the theme and wordpress please can you have a quick look at it for me?

    Could you navigate to the home page and attempt to edit it. Click on the section that says

    “Welcome To Fylde Care Build”

    Hi Yigit

    This is really puzzling. I am in an office with different routers and different computers. I have tested on 4 machines and all of them fail to show the kitchen sink and editor. All I can see is the Add Media button as shown in the screen shot.

    So why does it show differently at your end?

    I don’t dispute it shows correctly at your end. But it fails to at our end on different browsers and machines and different internet connections

    Can you advise further?

    I have now checked on Safari and Firefox as well but it does still work fine on my end.
    Which browser and OS are you using?

    Hi

    Okay firstly I am using a Toshiba Laptop with windows vista with browsers firefox chrome and ie

    Also on windows xp with google chrome and firefox

    And now just tested at a completely different physical location and of course on seperate machine and internet connection using chrome and the same. This computer is windows vista service pack 2

    This is all I see on any computer I test it out on. Why I wonder do you see something different?

    Hey Yigit

    Thank you for looking into this for me. I have found the issue. It is user permission related

    I manually added myself as an admin user to the wordpress database. I added the user to both user tables and followed guidelines on how to do it.

    But for some reason this particular admin user account fails to bring the tool bar editor up. Just thought I’d let you know and keep you updated.

    If you need anything more from me just reply

    Ps. Do you have a forum / support ticket feature add on for enfold? Say if I wanted to create a forum similar to this?

    Hey!

    Yes, Enfold is fully compatible with bbPress – http://bbpress.org/
    Glad you figured out the issue. Please delete the user and re-create it and check if that helps.
