Tagged: Default editor
Hey guys. Hope all is well. I am having a problem with the default editor. It is not showing up. It is completely blank. I updated WordPress 3.9.1. I also updated Enfold and it say that I am running the latest version, but the default editor is still blank. Have any ideas?
Hey geneluvn!
Where is it happening for you specifically? I just tried creating a new page and the regular editor shows up fine on my end.
If you accidentally saved a page when viewing the default editor and not the Advanced Layout editor view it would write over the previous drag and drop editor content since the two can’t exist on a page at once.
If you do a result autosave or restore backup on those pages you should be able to get the data and content back.

Devin
Hey Devin. Thanks for your response. The page that I am working on is the Transparent Header page. If I am understanding correctly, you can only use either the advanced or the default? I though maybe you could see both. I am just using the template that was given for the transparent header page. I just wanted to see about adjusting some code.
Yes, you can only use on or the other when editing or creating content.
That page seems to also be working correctly for me:
