    Hello,

    I have a problem with <!–more–> tag not being respected.

    “Blog content length” is set to “Excerpt With Read More Link” , however that excerpt is arbitrary, but I want to control the length of excerpt myself.

    Any word on what can be done here and to replace the hardwired excerpt length function with one that would use <!–more–> tag instead?

    Hi,

    You could try using the manual excerpt field (first enable it on screen options).

    I had in mind a way for the theme to honor <!–more–> tag, now it just disregards it, but now that I have tried the way that you have suggested, I actually like it better. I like that the excerpt text is kept away from the full post.
