Hello,
I have set the website to use a responsive layout but the footer style appears to use a fixed layout. Only for portfolio pages though, the footer looks normal throughout the rest of the website.
This is a new error that I did not have before I updated to the latest theme.
Here is a link so you can see:

Any help you could provide would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks for the quick reply.
I just did the update but I still seem to have the issue.
Any other suggestions?

September 11, 2013 at 4:06 pm #139934Hi Matt,
Have you modified any of the theme files? When you updated did you upload all of the theme files completely overwriting the old theme?
The issue is that the portfolio container isn’t closing properly for some reason so the footer is getting included inside of it.
First try disabling all active plugins just in case one of theme is adding an unclosed div in there somehow. Next, re-upload the newest theme files folder by folder via FTP to make sure the newest files are all live and untouched.
For a quick guide on updating your files with FTP take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: htps:/vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
September 11, 2013 at 4:53 pm #139935Hi Devin,
No I didn’t modify any of the theme files.
when I updated I just used the new theme updater. weird cause I haven’t had any issues when updating the theme manually via FTP in the past.
Ill try what you suggested.
Thanks again!

September 11, 2013 at 11:44 pm #139936Hi,
Do you have any plugins that insert certain div or container on the template? Maybe, they’re messing the layout a bit. Please try disabling all your plugins then remove browser cache. Reload the page a few times.

Ismael
September 20, 2013 at 5:59 pm #164131Hi Ismael,
You were right, it was the bbPress plugin that was causing the issue.
In fact, it was also creating some other issues with the search field as well.
I deactivate, and now the problems have been solved.Luckily we don’t have a need for that plugin at the moment so it shouldn’t be an issue for the time being.
Thanks again!
Cheers,
