    Hello,
Thanks for your awesome and extensive support.
Could you please give me a hand with tracking downloads on my website. How do I add:

    1. Onclick GA event tracking to a regular button.
    2. Onclick javascript that opens a “thank you” page.

I might be able to figure out the code, there are plenty of examples, I just do not know where to place it and if I can use it within a shortcode and not a form?

    Thank you.

    Hi miketica!

You can use Code Block element under Content elements in Advanced Layout Builder to use your code on your page

    Hey!

You can also try a plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/download-monitor/ which can track the downloads/user clicks.

Thanks, Peter. I’ve tried couple of those and I’m not too happy how the buttons look. Plus, I also need to pass the kws to the download link. The new page onclick would allow me to do some more stuff, in the future.
I think I’m starting to get the hang of how to properly track everything and pass parameters, but there are a few things I still have to test.

    Regards,
    Silviu
