I just updated my theme and so far I can see the grid is not portioned correctly. The grid is not balanced on both sides.

I’m not really sure what you mean by not portioned correctly. The one thing that was changed with this past update and portfolios is that they can now be single column and full width (see: http://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-version-2-9-images-with-hotspots-new-lightbox-and-some-portfolio-love) so if you didn’t already have the portfolio element inside of a 1/1 column you can put it inside of one to contain it inside of the “grid”.
