Hello,
I’m hoping you can help me. I tried searching through your forums and had no luck finding a solution to this issue. I have tried several times to overwrite some css using either custom.css or Quick CSS and neither worked. I have not had an issue like this on another website we created using your template (all have licenses), but this one is really giving me trouble. I am trying to take out/change the margin and padding for the footer. Here is what is currently in custom.css (also tried it in Quick CSS):
#footer .widget {margin: 10px 0 10px 0 !important;}
#footer {padding: 0px !important;}However, when I refresh my screen, the footer acts quite odd. I’ve even deleted cache several times, with the same issue coming up. The footer should be quite small in height, but when I click refresh, it goes back to the way it was before these styles, but if I click refresh 4 times, it comes back to the correct footer.
We are hosting this site on a temporary GoDaddy account, as the domain transfer has not happened just yet. Someone here set it up on GoDaddy and I believe they used GoDaddy’s install. Could this be the issue? If so, I do not know what to do, as I am stuck with it for at least the next 30 days. Please assist. I’ll include a link to the page in the private content. It’s mostly your demo page, but it’s just the footer that I need help with. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
July 8, 2014 at 6:09 pm #288624I believe I have figured out the issue. It seems there was a conflict with the Jetpack plugin, so I deactivated it. I’ll let you know if I run into further issues. Thanks!
July 9, 2014 at 3:02 am #288762Hi!
Thank you for using the theme!
I checked the page and the style on the footer is being applied. Let us know if the issue persist. Enfold 3.9 is out, please download in from your themeforest account. :)
Cheers!
IsmaelJuly 9, 2014 at 2:32 pm #289003It appears there have been quite a few issues with the 2.9 update, so I will wait until it is more stable to install it. I’m not even sure how to update the theme. Normally, it shows up in the dashboard, but it does not anymore. I’ll dig around in your forum and see if I find an answer. However, I do not want to cause issues on 2 of our sites using Enfold, one of which is our company’s live site. Thanks, and if you can tell me how to update, that would be great for when I am ready to do so.
