Hi,
Does enfold come with a 404 page? If so, how do I activate it (and customize it, if necessary). Thanks!
July 8, 2014 at 5:14 am #288307Hey!
Yes, enfold does come with a 404 template, there are two files that handle what is shown:
- /404.php
- /includes/error404.php
Cheers!

It seems that they don’t work in IE11. When I try to browse to a ‘bad’ url in IE, it shows some code.July 8, 2014 at 6:36 am #288341Hi!
Do you have an example ‘bad link’ we can see on your site? I’ve never heard of an IE11 only issue with the 404 page so if we can see it live it will help figure out what might be happening.
Cheers!

Can you post a screenshot of your view on IE11? also, have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed?

Have you tried it on a different computer? i couldn’t access your site anymore (an access window prompted).
Cheers!
JosueJuly 9, 2014 at 3:24 am #288772No. I only have one computer. I have tried it in several browsers though and IE is the only one with an issue. I don’t think it is a computer problem.
I locked my site down – it is in development.
I tried it on your demo site and got the same result.
This is the url I typed in:
http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/gallery/adfs .This is what showed up on the page (except in text – I put it in a code block here):
(Email address hidden if logged out) ","i18n_select_state_text":"Select an option\u2026","i18n_required_rating_text":"Please select a rating","i18n_no_matching_variations_text":"Sorry, no products matched your selection. July 9, 2014 at 4:35 am #288797Hey!
If you are seeing it on the demo page too then i’m pretty sure it’s a something on your computer, otherwise this would have been massively reported by another users, here’s how i see the Enfold 404 page you linked on IE11:
Make sure you don’t have any special plugins/toolbars/blockers/filters/etc installed on the browser or the system.

JosueJuly 9, 2014 at 4:44 am #288803Ok. I guess there’s nothing you’ll be doing about it then. Good to know.
How do I get captions underneath images on the lightbox gallery like you have on your demo gallery page, (4th picture on the 3rd gallery)
Thanks
July 9, 2014 at 4:56 am #288808Hi!
You can set the caption right here:
Best regards,
JosueJuly 9, 2014 at 5:00 am #288810Thanks – I don’t have that option because it isn’t technically a gallery. It is a bunch of pics that have been added to a post. WordPress creates a gallery out of them. I have entered the caption in the alt, title, caption and description fields but it still doesn’t show up under the image in the lightbox.
July 9, 2014 at 5:10 am #288811Hi!
You’d need to convert that gallery into an Enfold gallery in order to use the captions, you can use the magic wand tool to create an Enfold gallery element in Posts:
