    Hello,

    There are three categories showing up in my footer right now “Interesting Links”, “Pages” and “Categories”.

    I visited the Widget Area of WordPress and the “Footer” widget area boxes are empty.

    So where do I go to remove the current content that is showing up in the footer?

    I resolved this issue myself.

    Like I mentioned above the Widget boxes for Footer – column 1, 2 and 3 were all empty, though there was still default content showing up in the footer area of my site.

    I added text boxes to each of the 3 footer widget boxes and this fixed it.

    Hi Eric,

    Yep! That is the best way to just clear out their contents from the default data.
