Hey cfrushour!
Thank you for using the theme!
First of all, please make sure that you’re running WP 3.9 plus the latest version of the theme 2.8.1. Post the website url here so that we can inspect it. Please try the fix on .htaccess provided on this link: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/blog/2010/11/troubleshooting-font-face-problems
If you’re using CDN, please ask your CDN provider to exclude the fontello fonts suffixes .eot,.woff, .ttf and .svg file type from cache.
Best regards,

JosueJune 6, 2014 at 8:02 pm #275778Hi,
Is there anyway to resolve the issue without having to go into document mode in IE9? I don’t think most users know how to switch to that?
Thanks!
CaseyJune 6, 2014 at 8:09 pm #275782Document mode is an emulation of IE9, that’s how it should look on that browser. Unfortunately i don’t have a native IE9 set-up to test.

JosueJune 11, 2014 at 7:40 pm #277677My client tested the site on 3 other PCs with IE9 and found the same Chinese character issues… how do I fix this?
Thanks!
June 13, 2014 at 5:47 am #278484Hi!
Thank you for the update.
The icons are not showing the chinese characters anymore when I checked it on IE9. Please remove browser cache then reload the page a few times. What I noticed is that the icon list on the page (http://www.traxiongroup.com/about/) is not loading properly. Please try deactivate all plugins then test it again. If possible test it on another computer or browser.

IsmaelJune 16, 2014 at 3:53 pm #279501Are they not loading properly in IE9 or some other browser?
June 17, 2014 at 3:29 am #279809Hey!
Thank you for the update.
I checked the page (http://www.traxiongroup.com/about/) again on Chrome and the icons are working now. Again, we don’t see the chinese characters on IE9.
Cheers!
IsmaelJuly 11, 2014 at 2:23 pm #290085Hi,
My client just had another customer using IE9 say that the site’s icons are replaced with Chinese characters. (document mode or IE9 emulators don’t show the page the same as using actual IE9)
I already added this potential fix (http://www.fontsquirrel.com/blog/2010/11/troubleshooting-font-face-problems) and I have the latest version of Enfold. What else can I do to fix this problem?
Thanks!
CaseyJuly 15, 2014 at 7:15 pm #291768Hi!
Not sure why they would be seeing something different but with an updated ie9 (native application) on Windows side by side with chrome I have no issues:
Cheers!
