Hi,
We are having a problem when we try and edit the sections within a page that we only get very basic formatting options.
I asked our programmer and he came back to us and said
The editor in WordPress is TinyMCE: http://www.tinymce.com/ WordPress styles it to look like it does, the editor you’re seeing is the default TinyMCE editor so there’s an error in loading the wp version of it, when I look at the console errors I get this:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method ‘setContent’ of undefined avia-modal.js?ver=0.2:412 (anonymous function)avia-modal.js?ver=0.2:412 v.event.dispatchload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 o.handle.uload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 v.event.triggerload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 (anonymous function)load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 v.extend.eachload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 v.fn.v.eachload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 v.fn.extend.triggerload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 (anonymous function)avia-modal.js?ver=0.2:419 v.extend.eachload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 v.fn.v.eachload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 $.AviaModal.register_callback.modal_load_tiny_mceavia-modal.js?ver=0.2:390 $.AviaModal.on_load_callbackavia-modal.js?ver=0.2:212 $.ajax.successavia-modal.js?ver=0.2:190 lload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 c.fireWithload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 Tload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2 rload-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2&ver=3.5.1:2
This is one for the theme developer I’m afraid, I can’t diagnose the issue because it’s a problem with their avia-modal.js file, so you’ll need to get them to look at it, sorry.
Any idea why this would be?!
August 9, 2013 at 2:25 pm #134204Hey James. I have now looked into the issue and wasnt able to find or reproduce the problem. So here are 2 questions:
1.) are you running any plugin that might interfere? If so, try to disable them one by one to see if any of them is interfering
2.) Did you do any modifications to the theme files?
If #1 doesnt help I think the only thing we can do is go trial and error hunting. for that please use the contact form here: http://kriesi.at/contact
and send me:
– Your wordpress admin account: name and password
– Access data to you FTP server so I can modify the javascript files and try to find the issue by modifying those files
