    Hi there,
I’ve created a portfolio gallery, which the client is very happy with.
However, I need a way to enable visitors to the site to easily download the enlarged image.
What would be the chances of adding some text to the right of the lightbox description text – say ‘download image’ or an icon (or similar) which is a simple URL pulled from the external link metabox?
Or, any other ideas on how I might do this?
Obviously we cant right click on the enlarged image & save it that way.
    Any help GREATLY appreciated :)

    Hi Jason!

It’s possible, try the solutions shared here:

    Great, thanks Josue,
One further question relating to the link referenced above – specifically “…modify the plugin after the wp_footer() call in footer.php” where exactly would I look in the theme files to find the .php mentioned?
I’m guessing it’s not simply the footer.php file in the main theme directory(?)
Where are the theme’s PrettyPhoto files stored?
Sorry, this is just outside my comfort zone – so apologies if I’m asking dumb questions.
    Thanks,
    Jas

PrettyPhoto gets invoked in line 856, js/avia.js, you can pass the image_markup parameter there.

If this is too technical for you i think it would be best to contact a developer from a site like Codeable, you are half way there so it won’t cost a lot.

    Cheers!
