Hi,
after an update to 2.8 and today 2.8.1 I sometimes get the following message when trying to edit a site:
Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0
Any ideas?
Thanks,
ArminMay 29, 2014 at 10:42 pm #272116Switched off “Force SSL for Admin” and now it seems to run. But anyway, is there an known issue with SSL in wp-admin?
Thanks,
ArminMay 29, 2014 at 11:34 pm #272143May 29, 2014 at 11:36 pm #272145OK, but strangely I didn’t had a problem in ENFOLD 2.7.1
So in any way there must be a connection.
Thanks,

Try increasing the WP memory limit:

ArminMay 30, 2014 at 7:04 pm #272531OK, now I activated 2012 theme and all issues are gone. Switching back to Enfold brings the problem back. So quite sure a theme related issue.
The SSL thing seemed to be coincidence. Can you please have a closer look?
Thanks,

May 31, 2014 at 5:50 pm #272792Hi!
I did it because i included the URL of your website, don’t you see it (i though you do)?, sorry:
Hey!
I was able to log-in to your site and the pages, theme options loaded fine. The error seems to be quite inconsistent.Regards,

JosueMay 31, 2014 at 8:02 pm #272819Hi Josue,
it seems to be the “WordPress HTTPS” plugin. Feel free to turn it on and of if you want to try it.
But what distracts me is, that 2012 theme seems to work even with WordPress HTTPS turned on. So in the end it seems somehow theme related.
If I delete WordPress HTTPS I’m still faced with SSL issues. So no real solution for me.

Thank you for the info.
It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script, WordPress HTTPS, which is quite unusual because a lot of Enfold users who are using the plugin are not having this issue. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as stated on our support policy. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not included on the theme package will need to be directed to the plugin author.
I would try checking with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you.

June 1, 2014 at 9:03 pm #273025Hi Ismael,
thanks for your detailed answer.
I already checked my hosting provider and they told me everything OK there.
Now I have the mess with SSL warnings in browser. Any ideas how to fix them without WordPress HTTPS? I tried all other SSL plugins I could find, but all of them don’t fix the warnings. Except WordPress HTTPS…

ArminJune 2, 2014 at 9:19 am #273146Hey!
You can use WP MigrateDB to replace all occurrences of http:// with https:// in your database – also see: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/umstellung-https-und-wp-3-9-muss-ich-da-was-beachten/ – I know that this tool will “fix” all https errors of the Enfold theme. However I can’t guarantee that it will fix all errors on your website especially because some third party plugins may add content to your website which still uses the standard http:// protocol.
Cheers!
PeterJune 2, 2014 at 3:09 pm #273275Dude! You have any ideas how to fix my update problem?
Thx
June 3, 2014 at 2:40 am #273682Hey!
I’m not sure why the update is not working. Please try to logout then login again. If possible, test it on another computer or browser. I’ll ask Dude to check this thread again.

Please create a new thread and do not hijack the thread of other users.
Cheers!
PeterJune 5, 2014 at 3:11 pm #275163I’ll have a try with WP MigrateDB or WP MigrateDB PRO soon and let you know if I was successful.
Thanks,
