    I see that a lot of sites use w3 total cache. Should i use this with enfold/wordpress.

    You can use it to speed up the load times to some degree.

    But it can mess with you when you try to edit stuff and dont see the changes.

    Yeah it should work fine, just make sure to flush it after you made any customization to the theme options/files.
