    Hello,

    How to change the sequence of portfolio items, so they would not be shown according to the creation date of the entry?

    I’ve created a discography using portfolio (http://www.kremeratabaltica.com/?page_id=3057). I did it by putting the oldest CD’s first, so that it would show the newest ones at the top. Now a few more CDs need to be added (not the latest ones). How to put them in order so that they would be shown according to the date they were released?

    Ok, I put the function shown in the link above to the functions.php but nothing changes… I just simply put it at the beginning of the file and saved the file. Now when I check the file again – there aren’t any changes that I put a minute ago. What is the procedure of putting that function in .php file? Sorry for dumb question – new to all these technical things…

    If you have tried adding the code to bottom of Functions.php file in Appearance > Editor and it removed, you can try adding the code via FTP

    Well, actually I did it with ftp and it didn’t work, but now I tried in Appearance >Editor and it seems to work!

    Other thing is that it works not exactly the way I need. Now it randomly puts portfolio items every visit differently (I put the last function from the link you provided). What I need is a manual set up of items, so that I could insert few CD’s, let’s say, in the middle of others and that it would remain in the same order as it is now just with those few items inserted somewhere between others, if I’m clear enough. Is it possible (manual setup)? I saw that sorting could be re-done in many different parameters, but didn’t see anything about manual sorting…
