I’m having a problem similar to posting #266915. When I view my Home page live, the sliders are supposed to bring the wording in at different times. It works in the preview, but not live. I reloaded the newest version today, through the ftp, and tried shutting down the plugins. It’s currently being built on Godaddy’s Manage WordPress, before being moved over to the proper domain. Site is here: http://cfe.433.myftpupload.com
Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong?
thanks,

Thank you for using the theme.
The #266915 is the reply id so we can’t locate that thread. Please post the actual url of the thread here. We would like to review it for possible solutions. You’re using a very old version of the theme, 2.4.5. Please download the latest version from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

AmyMay 27, 2014 at 7:43 pm #270747Hey!
It seems like update was not succesful and you are still using an older version of the theme. Please try re-updating the theme via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750
Cheers!

Okay, I was finally able to update the theme on the temporary domain.
The animation on the first page still isn’t working. Thoughts?

Please update the theme to the latest version (2.8.1).
Also, try increasing the PHP memory limit:

Thank you for the update.
You set the Slide Delay to 30000, that is 30 seconds. Meaning the slider will only start after 30 seconds. We set it back to 3000 ms. Another problem is, the background file size is quite huge for its dimension. Please resave the background image ( http://cfe.433.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/new.back_.5.211.png ) as JPG format then set the quality to 10 if you’re using photoshop. Upload it again.
Cheers!

It works now. The “Animate starting slide” option: https://www.clipular.com/c/4825845445165056.png?k=AnjMZPP4JLIXACEhFnL2SoA6VSk was deactivated and thus LayerSlider didn’t animate the layers. I activated the option and now all layers fade in as expected.
Best regards,
