Hi Guys,
I linked my Google+ Page +miAppleMe on my homepage http://miapple.me. However, a ?rel=author is set automatically. But it is a Google+ Page, not an author ones.
How can I replace it with a ?rel=publisher instead of ?rel=author?
Thanks,
Gee Are
Hi Gee Are!
I think this code is added by a third party plugin (maybe socialize plugin but I’m not sure). Please ask the plugin author for help if you want to change the link url.

Peter
Hi Dude,
thanks for replying! I checked (and deactivated) every single plugin before I poested my question here and I came to the conflusion that it is the enfold theme.
If I deleted the Google+ information in enfold settings (header styling) then the authorship relation is gone. If I write a nonsense word like ‘XXXXX’ in the enfold social google+ line, then the author is in the Google rich snippet testing tool is ‘XXXXX’.
Hence, it must be something with enfold…
Cheers,
Gee Are
Hi,
rel=author is coming from functions-enfold.php, line 40.
Hi Ronan,
thanks for this information! What does this mean? Was this line added by enfold theme or not?
Cheers,
Gee Are
That’s correct, just replace ‘author’ with “pulisher’ to link your G+ page authorship.
Thanks! Works.
Hi!
Oh, ok. I thought you refer to the links at the bottom of the post: http://www.clipular.com/c/6011408185556992.png?k=Ekh-E1MA-4AKjNiSWfib52SExzk – they also contain the ?rel=author parameter and are definitely not part of the theme code ;)
Best regards,
Peter
Hi Dude,
no, I meant the Google+ Link of the enfold theme on the above left corner. Now it is a ?rel=publisher link.
BTW, it would be a good option for the enfold settings of the Google+ button to be able to choose either as ?rel=author or as ?rel=publisher… ;-)
Cheers,
Gee Are
+1 !
Thanks! In addition, the option to choose neither rel=publisher nor rel=author!
