    I seem to be having trouble with the “Text Block” content element in the Avia Layout Builder. The first occurrence of it on the page always displays nothing in the visual tab and “<p>Click here to add your own text</p>” in the text tab. Event though before clicking the edit button it is clear there is different content in it.

    In addition when I drag a “Fullwidth Easy Slider” media element onto the layout at the top and save, everything else gets delete from the page.

    Also, while I can’t definitively pin point how this issue occurs, it seems to be nearly unavoidable. Sometimes if I move elements around on the page layout, other elements (but not all) will disappear and be deleted.

    I am only experiencing these 3 issues on a single page. My wordpress version was a little out of date, so I just upgraded to 3.9.1 to no avail. I then also tried deactivating all of my plugins and I still am getting the issues. I’ve seen a few other posts on here with some of these issues, but did not find any solutions which worked.

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,

    Hi Trevor, I’m not a team member here, but had the exact same problem as you (visual tab) – if you drag your mouse over the Visual field, you’ll actually see your text (same one) in there too by marking it.
    I did solve the problem thou – try disabling all your plugins and see if that doesn’t make the difference. Then you can start turning them on one by one to see which one causes this issue – in my case, it was the SEO Ultimate plugin being the main culprit, but I found that the WordPress SEO plugin caused the same problem.

    I’ve already tried disabling all of my plugins and still get the issue. Of course I disabled them all after upgrading my wordpress to 3.9.1 and not before. While I’m unsure if using an earlier version AND disabling all of my plugins would correct the issue, I’d rather not use an out of date version if I can.

    Hi!

    Are you using Enfold version 2.7.1? There was a visual text bug like that which was just fixed in the last bug fix update.

    How can I tell what version of Enfold I am using? Chances are that I am using 2.7.1 though. Do I have to purchase the newer version? or are updates included when I initially purchased the theme?

    Hi!

    You can go to Appearance > Themes and click “Theme Details” on Enfold and check the version. You can also check it on top of Style.css file in Appearance > Editor.

    I’ve upgraded Enfold to 2.7.1 on WordPress 3.9.1 and am still getting all 3 issues. I’ve also disabled all of my plugins since upgrading with no luck.

    All I’m trying to do is add a “Full Width Slider” at the top of the page, but while playing with it I ran into the other issues.

    From here then you would have 2 options: re-create the problem page in case its shrotcode/layout has gotten corrupted or provide admin credentials here as a private reply so we can login and take a look at the problem page first hand.

    I think the problem with your installation is that there are unnecessary closing tags. Like this example:

    There are two closing </div> tags which is not necessary, if I am not mistaken. I suggest that you re-create that page from scratch.
