I’m trying to set Droid Sans and Open Sans as the fonts. I see the Droid Sans in the headlines on my android phone, but not on my desktop in Firefox or Chrome. Also not seeing them on my iPad. (the default looks like Helvetica or Arial) H
ere is the temporary location of the site while I test it:
Do you know what’s going wrong?
July 11, 2013 at 8:08 am #128943Hi,
Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS
body {
font-family: "Droid Sans", "Open Sans", Helvetica Neue;
}Regards,
Ismael
July 12, 2013 at 12:57 am #128944That changed it to the correct font, thanks. But why should it be necessary if I chose it in the Theme settings? Is this a bug?
And if I want a different font for the heads, I assume I need to likewise assign it in the quick CSS?
July 14, 2013 at 8:36 am #128945It seems like Enfold doesn’t apply the “Droid Sans” font to your headlines. Make sure that you set the “Droid Sans” font for your headlines
July 19, 2013 at 12:36 am #128946Thank you for noticing the missing font. I was just going to live with Open Sans on everything, but yes, Droid Sans Is not showing up.
Here is a screen shot of my settings.
BTW, the site is now live so you can refer to the live site. (and thanks for your help!)
July 20, 2013 at 9:32 pm #128947Hi,
Nice looking site. Crisp with soothing colors and very readable fonts. However there is an update for Enfold available that you should install after downloading it from themeforest.net. It will overwrite every theme file and should be administered via ftp after you make a backup.
Thanks,
Nick
July 21, 2013 at 4:36 am #128948Thank you Nick. Enfold made it easy! Will the update you mention help with the fonts issue?
best,

July 22, 2013 at 6:46 am #128949I’d recommend to try it. 1.8.1 contains several improvements. We didn’t include a “fix” regarding this issue simply because we can’t reproduce it on our servers and no other user reported it so far. I even can’t reproduce it on your website: http://www.screenr.com/riWH
July 22, 2013 at 6:18 pm #128950Thank you for the screencast! This is interesting. Here are two screen grabs. The font is wrong in Chrome, and correct in Firefox.
If I do what you did in the inspector, in Chrome, then I see that removing Droid Sans fixes the headlines (they become thinner), and the body text also becomes Open Sans.
If I remove the quick CSS that re-states the two fonts, then the whole site goes back to Helvetica (in Chrome).
So what I’ve done is defined the entire site to be Open Sans in the quick CSS, and that will have to do.
Chrome:
Firefox:

Enjoy the theme!
