    On my posts, my footer is loading as a very long section, then once scrolling to the bottom, it retracts to normal size. Hopefully it will render this way for you when you visit this site. Please advise. Thanks!

    Try adding this code to the Quick CSS:

    #socket{
max-height: 50px !important;
overflow: hidden;
}

    Thanks for your help. Unfortunately it is still exhibiting this behavior. Perhaps a plugin is conflicting?

    Here’s a screenshot of the issue. When I scroll to the bottom of the page, the footer snaps back to the height that it should be, but usually not until I scroll to the bottom.

    Have you tried disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed?

    The pages that exceed my screen are fine, the problem appears on pages with little content.

    I work on a Mac, so does my client. He has the same problem. Tested in Safari, Chrome and Firefox….

    That does make the socket smaller, although it appears at 75% on my 21″ screen. As I said before, the problem only occurs on pages with little content. Pages that exceed my screenlength have a normal sized socket.

    Hi!

    The socket size was always that, we put a background color in the html element to give the appearance that the footer is larger, obviously this only noted in pages with little content (which is something the users can solve) and bigger screens.
