Hi,
If I write more than one paragraph of text within a text body and therefore leave spaces between paragraphs, once published – it automatically removes that extra line spacing and places the paragraphs directly above/below one another. Is there a way to rectify this?
Let me know if what I’ve said makes sense or if I need to be more descriptive.

WordPress will strip the extra lines. You can use the whitespace shortcode:
[av_hr class='invisible' height='50' shadow='no-shadow' position='center']to insert some white space. Change the height to another value if necessary (atm it’s set to 50px).
