All I would like to know please if the child theme is already incorporated with Enfold as of this date?

Download the full package from ThemeForest that comes with the PSD, License etc and there is a child theme included there. You can also create your own or download a simple version here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
