I’m using 1.7, and for some reason, no matter what I try (including different browsers), when I try to add a Portfolio Grid with the advanced editor, it doesn’t give me anywhere to select which categories I want. The listing is there on the right, but there’s no select box on the left.

Can you give us a screenshot on your Portfolio Grid options?
On Portfolio Grid Options, look for “Which categories should be used for the portfolio?”. On the left, click a category, push CTRL + Click to add more categories. CTRL + A, to select all. Save changes.

Thanks for getting back with me. I actually figured out the problem a little bit ago though. I had thought that the ‘categories’ it was looking for were just post categories. I hadn’t realized I needed to make separate portfolio categories. Once I did, everything started to fall into place.
