    Hi folks.
    I’m not sure how to describe this but here goes.
    How do I make a sidebar that only shows when a certain category is shown?
    I can see how to make a certain sidebar show for certain posts.

    But if I make a menu item of the category and let the menu show two posts, I would like a certain sidebar to show.
    Ditto for the other menu items.

    I’m sorry but I’m not certain of what it is you’re trying to do. Do you mind if we ask for an example of the category page? Is it an archive page? We’ll try to give you a better answer once we have a better understanding of the request. Meanwhile, please check these plugins, maybe they will help:
