For e.g. when you view source a page, is it possible to change the theme name as to prevent others from duplicating your websites?April 10, 2014 at 8:54 am #249656Hi there,
The easiest way to use a custom name for your theme is to use a Child Theme. You can read more about this and download a starter Child Theme at http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ .
You can rename your child theme to anything you like, provided you don’t change the link to the Parent Theme.
I hope this helps,

April 10, 2014 at 9:11 am #249666Hi there, thanks for the prompt reply!
So I download a pre-built child theme and install it as a theme from that link given? And install it to the web as a theme? However will it override the final website that I made? Cheers!April 10, 2014 at 9:57 am #249694Hi there,
I would download the child theme and open up the zip file. Open the style.css file and here you can change the name of the theme (Custom, My Theme) or whatever you like, as well as the description.
Do not change the name of the parent, Enfold, otherwise the child theme will not find the parent. You can also change the screenshot.png if you want to. Save these files and rename the folder to match the new name you are using.
You can now either re-zip the folder and install it as a new theme via WP or simply FTP it into your Themes folder.
After installing and activating the theme you can simply use the the Settings>Import/Export section and Import the Parent Theme Settings.
Then you should be good to go. The parent theme and settings remain untouched, so you risk nothing by trying this out for yourself.
I hope that helps,
AndrewJ

April 10, 2014 at 10:16 am #249702Hey!
There is also a more robust child theme in the big download you can get from your downloads on ThemeForest (the one that includes the PSD files).
The source debug information can be removed via function in the child theme as well http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/remove-avia-framework-debug-information/
Though its nice to keep in there so we can take a look at it when asking questions here on the forums.
Best regards,
