    when i click on deactivate i get the message that it has been deactivated but it still is marked as active in the list.

    Hey Swedfit!

    Please connect via FTP and go to wp-content > Plugins and tru removing the plugin manually

    and now it worlds. i manually removed buddy press through ftp… can BP be messing around with the website?

    Hi!

    Have you tried to switching to default themes in Appearance > Themes and check if issue only occurs on Enfold?
