* I’ve encountered a few issues with the latest upgrade that I must fix quickly as my site is a business site. I’m starting a few new threads – one for each issue just to keep things simple and also easy to find if people are searching for the same in the future. I hope this helps!
Hey guys,
In Internet Explorer 9 (Windows 7), the custom header size I set in settings is not holding as you can see from the whitespace below the header.
Thanks for your help.
Best,
Jonathan
Hi!
Thank you for using the support forum!
I checked the website on IE9 but unfortunately, I am not entirely sure what’s wrong with it. If you could provide us a with a little more clarification, a screenshot perhaps, that will help a lot. We’ll provide you with a response once the issue is clear for us.
Cheers!
Ismael
Hi Ismael,
Please see screenshot here: http://i.imgur.com/b6ohi54.png
I am talking about the white gap circled in red. That same gap appeared in all browsers on update of the theme but then I just set the custom header height to match the css rules I had in place before and it was fine. It is still showing on explorer though unfortunately.
Thanks for helping with this.
Best,
Jonathan
Hi!
Thank you for the screenshot. Please try this on Quick CSS or custom.css: http://pastebin.com/aBQsPGqf
If the first one doesn’t work, use the other one at the bottom. Adjust the top padding value if necessary.
Best regards,
Ismael
The first one changes things but it makes the header start over the slider – even if I change to 58px.
Hi Ismael, this seems to be working now actually. Please confirm as I’m using virtualization. If so you can close!
