I’m having a problem getting blog post photos to show up correctly when I try to share on Facebook. Normally, a small thumbnail image will be rendered next to the blog post that I share on Facebook. What am I doing wrong? Is there something that that I need to do differently when creating the blog post and how I insert the image? example: http://thinkspace.com/thinkspace-to-add-a-fourth-floor-in-redmond/
I just installed it and I’m seeing very similar behavior. The first image that Facebook wants to use is something other than the main photo on the blog. Here’s a screen capture of what I mean: http://thinkspace.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/fb-screenshot-enfold-theme-blog-problem.png
Hey!
Yes, i understand the problem, it seems that all-in-one-seo-pack is setting an og image too which is causing a conflict in Facebook, try disabling that feature.
Cheers!
Josue
Ok, so if I disable all that I will also lose all my SEO meta information that is packed in there for each page. I assume that I have to re-create that elsewhere? What SEO plugin do you recommend using with Enfold?
Hi!
Thank you for using the support forum!
Please use the Yoast SEO plugin, go to SEO > Social, tick the “Add Open Graph meta data” checkbox, login as facebook admin and then set the description + image. Afterwards save the settings. Make sure that there are no other SEO plugins installed.
Best regards,
Ismael
