Enfold Accordion is always open on page load despite me setting each accordion to 0 so they should all be closed on page load.
How can I keep them all closed unless the user clicks to open. Thanks
March 26, 2014 at 6:18 am #243153Hi lewisedavis!
Do you have other plugins installed? Maybe, you’re using the url with the toggle id? Something like this:
http://localhost/kriesi/enfold/?page_id=2880#toggle-id-1
We tested this on our end and the toggle containers closed as expected when the value is set to zero. Please give us a link to the page with the issue.
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 28, 2020 at 2:14 pm #1217357Hi
I have the same problem with my Accordians. I set it to open the first and only have one open at any time. However all is open and i can not close it. The URL in the browser is “clean” so it’s not the problem.
On page load it looks like this: https://prnt.sc/spe4v8 and when i try to close the first accordian, the URL changes to this: https://prnt.sc/spe5gi but nothing happens, and all are still open.
I tried to deactivevate all plugins, and only have the chield theme added, which there has been NO custom CSS or Script changes done to.
I hope you can help.
May 29, 2020 at 12:52 pm #1217676Hi,
@KimKonstruktiv: We couldn’t find the accordion element in the home page. Where did you place it? Please provide the URL of the page containing the accordion element so that we can check it.Best regards,

Thanks for looking In to this issue.
The page url and page name is called “boligforeninger” its just a page, not the home page.
May 30, 2020 at 10:32 am #1217935But the initial open setting on behavior is set to “0” ?
And the link to that page does not go to with including toggle-id like : /boligforeninger/#toggle-id-1May 30, 2020 at 11:16 am #1217948Hi
I’ve changed the initial open setting to “1” but it doesn’t change the fact that all 4 is open and can not close as they should.
June 3, 2020 at 1:04 pm #1219032Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Looks like an issue with the theme’s Performance > File Compression settings, so we disabled the option. Temporarily, you can install plugins like Autoptimize in place of the default file compression.
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 1, 2020 at 3:22 pm #1242534I’m having this problem, too, but it started when I activated Autoptimize. I have Autoptimize active on two of my other sites and my accordions are all working fine except on this one page, which has no different styling than the other accordions. Autoptimize saves me like 6 seconds in load times, though, so I don’t want to disable it.
