Hi,
this is no technical issue, but a layout challenge for the experienced “enfolder” ;-)
I have 2 layout elements next to each other, both 1/2.
The first 1/2 contains a number of elements ( user-defined widget and textarea)
The second 1/2 is supposed to contain a call-to-action button.
Question: how can I “valign” the cta-button in the right 1/2 element to the length of content of the left 1/2 element?
See http://www.carrington-brown.com/ for an illustration of the work.
Thank you for your input!
Frank
Hi frankwelschlehmann!
Can you first add call to action button and then let us know so we can take a look? A screenshot showing the changes you would like to make also would help us understand it better
Cheers!

Smart idea. I should have thought about that.
Pls see this screenshot / sketch with CTA Button:

Hey!
Please add the button into the right column. It’s hard to test or write css code without seeing the effects.
Cheers!
Peter
Yes, good idea: http://www.carrington-brown.com/test/

Hi!
Ok, I played around with the css code but I think it’s not easily possible. Especially the code wouldn’t be responsive and/or cross browser compatible. I suggest to place a “Horizontal Ruler” element before the button and then use the “whitespace” mode and a custom px value to push the button down. It probably won’t give you a perfect center alignment but it’s the only solution I can think of.
Regards,
Peter
Thank you, that works good enough.
(Didn’t know about the whitespace separator…)
Best regards,
Frank
