I have a two column footer widget. I added two text widgets to the footer. The footer still shows the default text on one column and the two text widgets I added are stacked one below the other in the same column.

Ok I figured it out. I was adding all three text widgets to the Footer column 3 widget. When I put one text widget into each of the Footer column widgets, it works out fine.
