I’m working on the site at: http://www.got2bmoving.com
Our client wants a splash screen so I created it in the splash.php file, created a page named “splash” and set the template for this page to “Splash”. In the Settings > Reading, I set the Static Page > Front Page to “Splash”. Then I went to the “Home” page (that was at: http://www.got2bmoving.com) and updated the permalink from “www.got2bmoving.com” to “www.got2bmoving.com/intro”. I checked to be sure the permalink for the “Splash” page is set to http://www.got2bmoving.com
I cleared my browser history and when I go to http://www.got2bmoving.com I still go to the Home page instead of the Splash page. When I explicitly go to: http://www.got2bmoving.com/intro it redirects to http://www.got2bmoving.com
Can you give me any advice about why that redirect is set up and if I can remove it? Or if you have any other tips on how to achieve what I want. I was able to achieve this with this site when we were using another theme. Maybe I have done something slightly different or there is something unique about this theme?
Thanks in advance for your help with this.

Anyone have any ideas about what’s going on?
Thanks for any ideas you can provide.

    Hey!

You need to set the splash page on Enfold > Frontpage settings.

    Cheers!

HI Ismael – Thanks so much for your help with this. All looks good now.
I wish I had looked more carefully for that setting before I posted my query. Thanks very much for your help with this.
