I just updated Enfold to the latest 2.6 version and now our blog page no longer shows the featured preview images and the “Latest News” thumbnails at the bottom of that page are also now missing. Seems to only a problem for the Blog page. The problem appears to be in the “And where do you want to display the Blog?” setting when set to “Blog”. I’ve temporarily had to set it to “Select Page” so it doesn’t show missing images and missing thumbnails, but I’d really prefer to have it set to “Blog” with “Blog Style” – Multi Author Blog as I had working before this last update.

Just found another problem after the 2.6 update – In Chrome Version 33.0.1750.146 and in FireFox 26.0 our default font style is not applied to our site’s home page as it is on other pages. Interesting thing is that if our admin is logged in then the fonts show up correctly, but if not logged in then the styling for the home page is now different for the other pages on the site. You can most easily see this issue by looking at the fonts in the header menu on the home page as compared with the header on other pages. This problem doesn’t happen in Safari Version 7.0.2 (9537.74.9). This is a great theme, but it looks like you guys could use some help with QA testing.

    Hey Joseph!

Can you try clearing your super cache cache completely and then going to the theme options>styling tab. Make a small change and then save your styles. Change it back if needed and save again.

Then clear the super cache cache again and see if you are still getting the difference in fonts.

For the blog, try re-choosing the blog display in the theme options and setting the page to output the blog as well.

    Regards,
    Devin

    Hi Devin,

Those were the first things that our guys tried when we saw the problem. Unfortunately, neither helped. Just tried it again and still same issue. Also, to more easily troubleshoot we’ve disabled WP Supercache, but still no resolution.

Also, we just tried disabling all plugins in case there was some incompatibility (and cleared cache several times too) and unfortunately this didn’t help. By the way, we’re using multisite, though I’m not sure that would matter in this case.

    Greetings Devin,
I’m having a similar issue as a result of our update as well. See here on the homepage the google font ‘Josefin Slab’ renders properly above the three call outs just under the slider, but once you navigate into interior pages Helvetica renders. Would love to get this fixed.. .

Many of the other new enhancements are excellent by the way.

It looks like the google font isn’t getting loaded outside of the home page. Not sure on why so I’ve tagged Kriesi on the issue and on our internal tracker as well.

    Hey Guys!

The font problem is easily solvable: it seems that the layerslider for whatever reason imports a bunch of fonts by default. In your backend go to layerslider->all sliders and open the “load google fonts” tab. then remove all of them.

Will take a look at the blog problem. mind postng me your login credentials in a private reply, as well as a description on what I have to change the settings to, to see the problems you are talking about?

    Cheers!
