I’ve somehow managed to knock the header down on our site so that when you scroll, all the page copy is visible above the header.

March 6, 2014 at 12:51 am #233006Hi orourkehospitality!
It does work fine on my end. Which browser and OS are you using?
Best regards,
YigitMarch 6, 2014 at 4:16 pm #233208I’m using Mac OSX Version 10.8.5 and I’ve viewed the site in both Chrome and Firefox and I’m still getting the header popping down from the top. Here’s what it looks like –
The black bar should be attached to the top and the image should scroll behind it, but shouldn’t be seen between the top of the browser and the black header bar.
Thanks!
March 6, 2014 at 4:23 pm #233209I just changed it so .fixed_header #header has a top position of 0, it shows fine in general now, but when logged in, the admin menu bar at the top covers the top menu bar on our site. I updated our WordPress to version 3.8.1 yesterday but haven’t updated the enfold theme because we’ve made styling changes to it. Could that have something to do with it?
March 6, 2014 at 4:36 pm #233214Hi!
You can update the theme if you have not made changes on theme files. If you made styling changes in Custom.css file, please back it up. If they are in Quick CSS section they will remain the same as long as theme names are matching. You should update the theme to make it compatible with the latest version of WordPress – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
YigitMarch 6, 2014 at 10:43 pm #233405Unfortunately we’ve been making changes to more than just the custom.css. Anything else I might be able to try?
Thanks!
March 7, 2014 at 3:05 am #233477Hi!
Have you noted the changes you have made? You can use a child theme – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
Cheers!
YigitMarch 13, 2014 at 7:55 pm #237147Hi Yigit,
I’ve finally gone in and updated the theme, so most of my issues are now all set, thanks!
I’m now noticing that we don’t have the Responsive Menu choice of Dropdown vs Slide Out, did that get taken away or is there a way around it? I also can’t figure out how to get the sub-menu to stay visible below 767px. Is that an option in the Theme settings?
Thanks!
March 13, 2014 at 8:38 pm #237167I’ve also realized that the Easy Slider is not responsive, it is changing the dimension of the image and essentially squishing in. Is there an easy fix for that?
March 13, 2014 at 9:18 pm #237189We’re also not sure how to get all the blog items to show up as http://www.orourkehospitality.com/hostedContent/orourke-rwd/blog/hotel-resort-ppc-case-study/
They’re currently showing us as
http://www.orourkehospitality.com/hostedContent/orourke-rwd/hotel-resort-ppc-case-study/When we change it in Permalinks to blog/%postname%/ it changes all the portfolio pieces to that as well.
Thanks in advance!
