Hoping you can help. I have looked through a number of posts and I can’t seem to fix this.
I am using the enfold theme. I wanted to play around a bit with the stretched vs the boxed layout and background colors. Using the boxed layout – I see where you get the option to change the background color or image.
I did successfully change it to a random color. I am now not able to get rid of that color and choose one to my liking. I have tried adding code to the Quick CSS box but this does not help. Thanks for looking into this.

Can you please post a screenshot of what you’re trying to do? You can change the background color of the main and alternate content on Enfold > Styling.

I will be happy to provide screen shots – see below. The first one is the style tab of the enfold child theme. As you can see I have it set to be a boxed layout with a green color for the background. Even the preview above the settings shows this to be the background. The second screenshot shows the site’s homepage. I have not been able to change the blue background. I have not added anything in the Quick CSS to modify the background. I have also cleared the cache just in case.http://www.msfwebdesign.com/msf_redo/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/style-tab.tiff

February 20, 2014 at 4:23 pm #226851Hi!
Another user had a similar issue and I believe its an issue with needing to re-set your stylesheet. If you switch to one of the pre-set color styles and save it will refresh them. You can open the styling tab view in another browser window before changing things over but not save it so that you have the settings on hand to then re-set them on your original ‘live’ window.
Put another way: you will have 2 browser windows open at once and both showing the themes styling options. One will be the ‘live’ window and the other used as a reference for later. Once you’ve re-set the styles in the live window you can use the second one to quickly re-set your live window styles.

Please try updating Enfold to the latest version 2.5.4 and check if that helps – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
If that does not help, please create a temporary admin login so we can take a look
Best regards,

Not sure what was the original source and thankfully (though not for you unfortunately) it doesn’t seem to be widespread and impacting lots of users so it shouldn’t be coming up again. A quick check through everything to make sure is still a good idea.

Devin
