    Hi

    on http://mz.muze1.de i have setup a post slider, displaying NEWS from the Blog. The Blog entries i did import via Press this from our old website, did with Joomla and heavy use Zoo component.

    The problem: Excerts, shown as leading after the posts title, vary pretty much in length, from only some words as they are supposed to, up to the first posts two paragraphs. I set a “read more” after approximately the same amount of words, but this did not solve the issue. So, how do i setup an even length for the excerpts in the post slider?

    Hi Sebastian,

    I believe you can just set the individual post Excerpt text in the wordpress excerpt field for each post.

    oh yes, i forgot that there is an option button at the top ….
