Dear support,
I am building a Chinese site and I would like to change some of the text to Chinese. Can you give me direction where I can change them please. I would like to change the wordings from header bar such as “You are here: Home…”, “Archive for month”, “Blog – Latest News” etc…
Also when I created post. It show a default sidebar which I want to removes Pages section or may be add other things to it. Where can I customise the side bar for the posts. Or can I use any of my custom widget/sidebar?
I would also like to remove the “/by admin” under the post title, how can i do that?
Many many thanks.
Regards, Kenny.
February 18, 2014 at 11:03 pm #225795Hey kennyleung!
You can translate your websiteusing this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/
and please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab to remove /by admin.blog-author, .text-sep-cat { display: none; }
Cheers!

Edit the post then look for Layout > Sidebar Setting > choose the widget area that you want to show for that specific post. You can edit the sidebar on Appearance > Widgets.
Cheers!

Please go to Appearance > Widgets and remove/add widgets in “Displayed Everywhere” widget area
Cheers!
YigitFebruary 20, 2014 at 2:24 pm #226760I already did that before hand (removed everything under Display Everywhere) but still seeing those sections. I want to customise the side bar for this category and monthly view.
Thanks, Kenny.
February 20, 2014 at 4:53 pm #226878Hi!
Please remove widgets from Displayed Everywhere widget area and place the widgets you would like to display on category and monthly view there.
Cheers!
YigitFebruary 20, 2014 at 11:14 pm #227101But then those widgets I add to Display Everywhere will be display on individual post as well. Which I do not want.
Currently I want a different sidebar for the Monthly/Category view and another one for all my post. I have create a new sidebar for post, if I add anything to the Display Everywhere, my post will display the widgets from both sidebar.
Thanks, Kenny.
February 24, 2014 at 5:14 pm #228563Hi!
You would need to use a third party plugin like this one to get that kind of control of your widgets: http://wordpress.org/plugins/display-widgets/
The theme by itself doesn’t have that depth of control for your sidebars/widgets.
