We had originally set up a sub-domain (http://beta.hovertrowel.com) for development of a new WordPress website using your theme. When we were finished filling in the content we pointed the domain (http://hovertrowel.com) at our WordPress directory and updated the URL information in the WordPress ‘settings’ menu to be accurate. We then removed the sub-domain http://beta.hovertrowel.com and all our image links are now broken except for the slider.
The slider is using relative image linking, where as all the images we have on our site are hardcoded to use http://beta.hovertrowel.com.
What is the easiest way to do a mass search-and-replace on our images so that we can change the url from http://beta.hovertrowel.com to just http://hovertrowel.com? Is there a specific table in the database we can run a query on?
In the meantime we have reactivated the http://beta.hovertrowel.com sub-domain, but ideally, we’d like to get rid of this and have all of our images linking from http://hovertrowel.com.
Please advise.
Thanks,
J
