Hello Kriesi + team,
First I would like to say that you’ve build a almost perfect WordPress Theme!
I’ve bought about 20 Enfold themes with two company’s I work for and it works really great.
Two questions for you:
1. Are you building on a new theme with the same editor as the Enfold theme?
2. Can I change the name of the theme folder with the name of the company I’m building the site for?
So if you look at the source code, you can’t see it’s a Kriesi theme? To make myself clear: It’s nothing personal to you or you’re company:) but it’s to give the customer the fealing it’s there ‘own’ template!Gr. Jeen
January 28, 2014 at 6:03 am #215647Hi Gr. Jeen!
1. As far as I know not this time, Kriesi is devoting time to updating and improving Enfold for a while. But i personally believe that if there’s a new theme will probably have the same or an improved editor.
2. Yes, it’s possible, please refer to this topic: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/renaming-the-theme/ (it will work with Enfold)
Best regards,

Thanks for the answers. If I change the theme name, can I still get updates?
Or do I have to change all the settings back after an update?Gr. Jeen

Yes, the name will revert back after you update, but you can prevent this with a Child theme:
Cheers!

Great movie. Very nice and implemented it directly.
There is only one thing I would like to accomplish.
Is it possible to have the name of the folder in the source code changed to the customer. So if I hit right mouse button, show source code as a visitor on the site, I see the customers name and not ‘enfold’

Yes, you can name the folder whatever you like (parent or child theme).

January 30, 2014 at 1:30 pm #216929Hello,
One question:)
When I move a site from one server to another (test to live) I alter the MYSQL DB file in Notepad.
For example. When I made a site on test.groeier.nl and I want to move it to http://www.groeier.nl
I change all the test.groeier.nl to the http://www.groeier.nl links
No problems so far, the site works almost great then. The only problem is, that te settings from the enfold theme become blank, so I have to put in all the settings again.
Can you tell my how to solve this, because I would think the settings are in the DB?Gr. Jeen
