    Hello,
    I have 2 question about Updates.
    1) I use a child theme. with just a few Plugin. How to update correctly?
    In backend should i deactivate the Child theme and Activate the Normal Enfold Theme, then update via FTP and at the end reactivate the Child Theme? Or should i Update trhough FTP without changing the Theme?
    I sow that if i switch the theme for a update, the normal Enfold Theme show me live the standard configuration, with Enfold logo and so on. This is no problem, right? After that, reaktivate The Child theme and everithing “shoul” show up again?

    2) WP update a lot ;) is here in Forum a post where i can see, if i should update the WordPress or I should wait untill Enfold is tested for the new Update?
    For example I upate a short time ago for the 3.8 Now WordPress take out the 3.81 or something similar.
    Where can i read when is the right time to update WordPress without having trouble with the Enfold theme?

    Hello Josue,
    thank you. Sorry, for this question, right now is the 3.8.1 WP Version.
    at your Link (2.here) is::
    Software Version WordPress 3.8,
    means this that usually need to wait to update, untill comes 3.81 under “Software Version” ?
    Or 3.8 means 3.8 untill for exemple 3.8.9?
    Does Enfold Theme will be checked also for those version (3.81, 3.82 and so on) or most for main verison like 3.7, 3.8, 3.9 ?
    sorry, need to understeand when we should update and how often ;)

    Hi!

    I think it is better if you wait for a while and see how the wp update affects other users. We really can’t tell you if it is completely safe to update or not. You should consider Josue’s advice to check the compatible software version for the theme.
