Hello, I have just done a completely new upload of the latest Enfold theme (v2.4.5), and as soon as I reloaded the page with the portfolio items (in this case, assigned as a list of lawyers), the thumbnails and title/excerpt no longer had any rollover or link to the individual page. I have looked at other posts and tried to rename the permalinks several times – default, back to what it was originally (people), plus some new names – no luck. I also deactivated and reactivated BBPress (saw that on another post), but that didn’t help either. Luckily I made a complete backup of the older version of Enfold, so have reverted back in the meantime. This is the page in question (links working here only because this is the older version of Enfold):
http://www.ekb.com/our-team/lawyers/
You will see that the categories are not displaying properly – this was one of the reasons I wanted to update to the new version – but at least the links work for now, which is crucial.
The only way that you can see the problem is if I send you admin access so that you can swap out the theme, so please let me know unless you have another option for me to try and fix the problem? Thank you, Jodi
January 23, 2014 at 5:00 pm #213945Hi webWahine!
When you re-activate the theme make sure to go to that portfolio grid element and re-set and re-save the options to show it how you want.
Best regards,

I have also just built a team member component and that link isn’t working either, so it’s messed up on both the portfolio grid and the team element!!!!
January 31, 2014 at 9:45 pm #217657What is the actual URL of the site? Have you tried deactivating all currently active plugins and/or re-downloading the theme and re-uploading it?
That is not the default behavior of the theme and its the first we have heard of any major issue like this so it is most likely not a bug within the theme but instead an outside issue causing a conflict.
January 31, 2014 at 9:52 pm #217660The URL is:
The whole problem started when I did an update to the latest version of theme. The site is live so I am hesitant to deactivate all of the plugins, especially since it’s a law website. The only php I have modified are footer.php to change the Kriesi link and a small script to hide image attributes, and functions.php to remove the auto update in admin (these changes were fine before).
I’d be happy to give you the admin access – actually, I’d be really happy if someone at Kriesi is available to help me and get paid – is that possible?
February 2, 2014 at 8:19 am #218381What page/url is having the portfolio issue? The link from above doesn’t seem to have any issues that I can see at the moment.

February 5, 2014 at 7:39 am #219798In your custom.css you have the pointer events disabled on the title link which is preventing the name of the person from linking. You can add this after to turn it back on:
.grid-entry-title a { pointer-events: all !important; }
February 5, 2014 at 8:22 pm #220075I commented out the css that was disabling the title link and added in the new css but that unfortunately didn’t make a difference so the saga continues – still no rollover/links on that page. Also I noticed that when I sort by category it seems that some kind of iFrame is happening because I see a scrollbar that appears just under the header before the breadcrumbs. Sorry but please help me sort out this conundrum!
February 5, 2014 at 9:14 pm #220090Can you post a temporary admin login so we can log in and take a look at what settings you have for that grid? The css above makes it so that the portraits have links now but the only thing I can think of at this point is that the settings are just incorrect for that grid element.
Make sure to set the post as a private reply so that only we can see the login information.

The CryptX plugin is causing the issue. Please deactivate it for portfolio pages. I disable the plugin specifically for this page: http://www.ekb.com/our-team/lawyers/
I’m sorry I have to deactivate the Post Types order plugin while testing. I think I messed up the portfolio order.

IsmaelFebruary 6, 2014 at 8:37 pm #220658Awesome! You are all so wonderful! Thanks and sorry that this has been such a long process! I tried to convince them that they didn’t need CryptX but an IT guy insisted, even though they never had any encryption on their emails before! So, everything must have gone haywire when that was installed. thank you, thank you :)
