Hi, firstly thanks for making such a great theme – very happy with my purchase. I have two issues however which I’m hoping you can fix for me.
1) my portfolio images do not open in a lightbox even though I have the ‘yes open in a lightbox’ selected, see here: http://www.kalma.com.au/portfolio-item/portfolio/
I would like the portfolio to open like my galleries that are in my posts http://www.kalma.com.au/category/photography/2) When I create a post and add a gallery using the tile mosaic option there are some formatting issues sometimes, can this be fixed? see http://www.kalma.com.au/2014/01/12/print-shop/
Thanks a lot!

1.) Edit the Portfolio Grid element then look for “Link Handling”, choose “Display the big image in a lightbox”.
2.) Add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:
.tiled-gallery-item.tiled-gallery-item-large a img { width: 100% !important; padding: 2px; }

Thanks a lot for your reply!
The portfolio element does not have that option. I’ve created a portfolio, added a gallery element and then there is a option that says: Use Lightbox Do you want to activate the lightbox? YES/NO – either one of these options does not change anything when opening the pictures.
Unfortunately I’m not skilled in editing CSS so I’ll get my friend to look into the last part for me.
Thanks again!

Deactivate all active plugins including Jetpack. It looks like the image resizing function might be causing an issue with the portfolio and the lightbox script opening images correctly.

DevinJanuary 16, 2014 at 7:25 am #210512Hi Devin,
That did the trick – I disabled all the image Jetpack options – I think the offending Jetpack plugin in the ‘Carousel’ plugin.
Is there any way of getting Carousel to work? I really like how that Jetpack feature worked – when you click on a image on a post it opened a type of lightbox (carousel) – with it off, you have to click on the image once which takes you to a smaller image then click on it again to view the full image…worked that out, just needed to update the link typeI also added that CSS into the Quick CSS which kinda fixed the picture formatting – its still not perfect but its better.
One last thing, my homepage easy slider is set to the gallery (710×575) slideshow image size and all my images when I upload them I’ve resized them to 800x#### – I’ve noticed that even though the easy slider is down sizing the image its making them bad quality. I figured if the image was enlarged it would lower the quality, not shrinking. Any thoughts?
Thanks again!

January 16, 2014 at 9:50 am #210581Hey!
Please try to enclose or place the Easy Slider element inside a column. The slider will automatically inherit the size of the container. This will make the slider looks bad if you’re using small images.

IsmaelJanuary 17, 2014 at 6:11 am #211022Thanks Ismael,
I’ve put the slider into a single column however it doesn’t look like its changed anything.
Thanks!
January 17, 2014 at 7:21 am #211057Hey!
Did you use the 1/1 column? It will still give you a container with 100% width. Try using a smaller column like 1/2 or 1/3. Please post the link of the page where you’re testing it.

IsmaelJanuary 17, 2014 at 11:31 am #211162Hi Ismael,
Its my homepage http://www.kalma.com.au – I want the images to be large like now but just better quality if possible. Perhaps the slider gallery image dimensions are shrinking my images height so thats why the quality isnt as good.
I don’t want to ad the slider into a column like 1/2 or 1/3 as I want the images to take up most of the screen.
Thanks,
Dan.
January 20, 2014 at 9:13 am #212130Hey!
Please try to install this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-resized-image-quality/ , then configure the quality setting(s) and regenerate the thumbnails with: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

PeterJanuary 21, 2014 at 2:01 pm #212758That just totally destroyed every image on my site… crap. Didn’t quite understand all the settings and just did what you said without reading all the settings… its now made all my images terrible quality…
I dont know if I have a recent back up of my site either. Damn.
January 21, 2014 at 2:08 pm #212765PHEW! I’m regenerating the images and its fixing the quality back! Heart attack diverted :)
