    Hello,

    Please help (again)

For the last 3 days, I got 3 emails from hostgator about this:
This message is to advise you of a temporary block placed on your account. This account was found to be consuming an inordinate amount of processor time, to the point of degrading overall system performance. While we do limit each account to no more than 25% of a system’s CPU in our terms of service, we do not actively disable accounts until they greatly exceed that number, which is what happened in this case.

This is really strange because all I do is just updating the contents and put more pictures into the site.

This is the first time I got this kind of warning. I never experience this problem with your other theme. Any advice?

    Thanks a lot

    Regards,
    Andri

    Hey andri7luck!

You can try to disable all third party plugins which are not required. If this doesn’t solve the problem I recommend to switch to a better hoster. Unfortunately Enfold is a complex theme which requires more resources than a simple, standard theme like TwentyThirteen,

    Best regards,

Hi, I only use some plugins like:
    akismet
    google xml sitemep
    link cloaking plugin
    bbpres
    link cloaking plugin

I don’t think they cause the problem.

CAn you recommend me a better hosting? I think so far hostgator is good enough

    Hi!

It depends on the account you have with HostGator but they are still considered a budget hosting provider at the basic level. You can look into upgrading your account with them and ask what specifically on your account is causing the extra processing/issues to get a better idea of what might need to be done.

what is the minimum requirement for enfold theme to work optimally?

    Hi!

Actually there are no minimum requirements because it depends on the website content, number of plugins, etc.
I recommend to use Enfold with PHP5.3+, WP3.8 and 128M allocated PHP memory. The amount of processor time depends on the hardware, complexity of the content, the number and type of the additional plugins and obviously on your traffic (number of page views).
I don’t know good US based provider but Host Europe or All-Inkl are imo good host providers based in Germany.

    Regards,
    Peter
