Search Form – 2 Kinds

Hello,

I’d like to ask you regarding the search form:

I have noticed two different functionalities.

The first one (the standard search form shown in the up-right home page), when typing, shows instant results, based on page/post titles.

While, in the second one, (the search form shown on a widget), the instant results are not showing.

So, my question is how I can show the instant results of a search form which is shown in a widget?

Also how can I customize its space for typing (characters length)?
