    Hi,

    I am having issues uploading icon fonts via the IconFont manager and am getting the following message:

    “Could not add the font because the server didn’t respond. Please try uploading again.”

    Is there a way to manually upload icon fonts via FTP?

    Hi!

    Can you please give us a link to the website? Do you have any plugins installed? Please deactivate them first. Increase wordpress php memory limit: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/

    Hi!

    I did incresed the WP php memory and still getting this error message: “Couldn’t add the font because the server didn’t respond. Please reload the page, then try again.”

    Hi!

    The “server didn’t respond” error message tells you that the server didn’t process the request properly. Please contact your host and ask them for error logs.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately my client host service doesn’t respond to my tickets :( is there any other workaround or somethig else i can try?

    I’m more a design guy then a computing one, sorry to bother but its really not my fault :\

    Hey!

    Unfortunately the “Could not add the font because the server didn’t respond” is a very generic error message and doesn’t help us to identify the problem. We need an error log or detailed error report from the server/host provider. I guess the issue is caused by a missing php library like here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/iconfont-manager-upload-problem/

    I ‘ve Face same problem on live server. on local server it works fine, I just move my wordpress website to live and upload the theme setting file its working fine, but custom Fontello icon fonts are not installed . following message appear after selecting zip file
    Couldn’t add the font because the server didn’t respond.
    Please reload the page, then try again

    Enfold theme version: 4.0.2
    PHP version: 5.6.30
    Server version: 5.6.35 – MySQL Community Server
    I’ve try many solutions provided on kriesi. but failed. i’m so worried , Please help me.

    Hi,

    Please update the theme to the latest version (4.0.7). That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)

    To update to the latest version follow the simple instructions here. (Or if you want the super detailed explanation you can read this blog post)

    Hi,

    No, you won’t the only things that will be lost during the update is if you have some codes added to the theme files, but still make sure to make a backup first before updating since sometimes there might be disruption during the update so better be safe :)

    I also have the same issue. WP and theme are freshly installed and all updated, and I’m not using any plugins. Yet I can’t upload “fontello” font zip file and am getting the “Server didn’t respond” error message. Please let me know the fix to this- thanks!
