Hello,
I have noticed on an ipad/table that the 8 squares we have on the homepage (they are set up in a text box to achieve the look we want) become left aligned rather than centered. I know that the boxes will reduce to 2 across by 4 rows down, but we would like them centered rather than left aligned. Is there code I can insert to have just this element centered when in responsive views?
Thanks again!
KacieNovember 26, 2013 at 2:25 pm #193421Hi donnellydesign!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab
@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) { .home .avia_textblock p { text-align: center; }}
Best regards,
YigitNovember 26, 2013 at 7:17 pm #193543awesome, thanks!
If we would like to display the social media icons only in the socket at the far right, is there a way to do this while still keeping our small fixed header? I tried to read through other people’s posts, but wasn’t finding exactly what I needed.
Additionally, could you tell me how to change the icon list color from the grey/black to a custom color on this page?

I was trying something like the following, but I’m not very skilled in css.
.page-id-12 .avia-iconlist {color: #e7ba20, }Thank you!

You should choose one of Header Types that display social icons.
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab.page-id-12 .avia-icon-list .iconlist_icon { background-color: red; }

YigitNovember 27, 2013 at 9:00 am #193749Thank you for the icon help.
When I use the header “small fixed with social icons” it displays them at the top of the page, but we would like them to be at the bottom of the page in the black socket area on the far right. Is there code to change this?

Sorry about the tags.
That worked well, however, since we don’t want the social icons in the top navigation, we still have “small fixed header” selected rather than the “fixed header with social icons”. The Facebook icon appears in our socket because it’s remembering the web address I put in when I tried out the “fixed header with social icons” but I switched back to the “small fixed header” so the icons would go away at the top and then that takes away the editing capability of what icons are used and their custom links. Does this make sense?
Is there a way to use the “fixed header with social icons” and just tell it to turn off the top navigation through a css customization?
Thank you.

Don’t worry about it. I hope that saves you time :)
You can switch to one of the headers with social icons, insert your username in social media icons you would like to use, then save changes, then switch header to small fixed one, then saves changes again and social icons should be still visible on the footer even if you are not using a header with social icons.Cheers!

Please go to Enfold theme options and check font family in Styling tab. Yo can also try adding following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab
p { font-family: 'Open Sans', 'HelveticaNeue', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; }
Cheers!

1.) The paragraphs are now using the Open Sans font when I checked the website.
2.) Please use this:
.av-special-heading { margin-top: 20px; }
3.) Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:
.post-meta-infos { display: none; }
4.) What type of Blog Style do you have?

Looks like refreshing or removing the browser cache will do the trick. Please test it on another browser. I’ve tested the solution on my end and it works fine. Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS to change the headings font. The body font is using the Open Sans font already:
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, tr.pricing-row td, #top .portfolio-title, .callout .content-area, .avia-big-box .avia-innerbox, .av-special-font { font-family: 'Open Sans', 'HelveticaNeue', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; }

IsmaelDecember 11, 2013 at 10:01 am #198912Hello,
A couple more questions:
1. Is there a way to keep the link for a slide active, but remove the fading to white and the circle with the arrow that pops up when you hover over it? Please see home page slider at the top as reference.
http://www.jamaicaclay.com/wordpress/1b. Similarity, is there a way to change the look of that? make the white a different overlay color and the arrow in the circle icon a different look?
2. How can I make the text on the home page that reads “The ceramic art of David pinto” stay the same size (i.e. still be H2) but do a text transform to all lowercase or upper and lower case? I tried
h2 { text-transform: lowercase; }
but that didn’t work.3. At the bottom of the home page – what is the code i need to remove the date stamp in the post sliders?
3b. Also, if i wanted to remove the featured image thumbnails, what code would I need for that? If we choose not to put a image in the featured image spot it leaves a line as a placeholder on the page and I want to be able to remove those lines, or tell it not to display images.
4. Is there a way to use the Avia layout editor for creating a “Posts” pages? I want to be able to drag and drop sliders and other media elements into my “posts” pages and i can’t do that with this structure. When i go to the “posts” pages I only have the default editor available to use to create posts pages. Should I be able to access an Avia layout editor? I would like to put a full width slider on one of my posts pages.
http://www.jamaicaclay.com/wordpress/puma-pinto-bolt/5. When you use a “color section” on a page with a sidebar, is there a way to contain the color in just the layout area and not have it spill into the sidebar, because it’s pushing all the menu info down below.
See page: http://www.jamaicaclay.com/wordpress/workshops/
If not, then is there a way to force the sidebar content to come up first and then the color section afterward?6. on the page below (and a few others) that use a “fullwidth masonry” set to display 4 columns, it leaves a hairline border on the far right when you window is fully open. Is there a way to remove this?
http://www.jamaicaclay.com/wordpress/gallery/custom-design/Also, is there a way to force the responsive part of this masonry to stay 4 images across and just get smaller, until it they needs to go to 2 images across? Does that make sense?
Thank you as ever!
December 11, 2013 at 3:44 pm #199017Hey Kacie!
Please add following codes to Quick CSS as well
1).avia-slideshow .image-overlay { display: none!important; }
1b) Please see https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-can-i-change-the-hover-icons-or-setting-off/#post-196164
2)em { text-transform: uppercase; }
3)
.avia-content-slider .slide-meta { display: none; }
3b)
.avia-content-slider .slide-image { display: none; }
4) No, it is not possible
5) Color section element is a fullwidth only element and that is why it pushes sidebar content down. You can try to remove sidebar and use Widget Area element instead if you would like to use Color section element and sidebar widgets
6).av-masonry-entry { width: 24.98%; }
Cheers!

Please add following code to Quick CSS as well
2).entry-content-wrapper h1, .template-page .entry-content-wrapper h2 { text-transform: none; }
5)
.page-id-118 .widget ul { list-style: none; } #menu-workshops-3 .main_color a { color: #9C9288; }
You can try adding custom CSS code directly to child theme's Style.css file in Appearance > Editor. You can flush browser cache and flush settings if you are using cache plugin and that should help
Best regards,
