Hi,
Well I have a big problem which I don’t understand… I’ve upload enfold and all it’s was ok
but now when I add new element it’s doesn’t work.If I add icon : i’ve only circle grey
If I add horizontal separation : I’ve only white space but no bar
…etc.If I would like to see edit my page with default editing text : all my pages is empty
If I used avia editor : I see the content…I don’t understand, all it’s ok at 7:00 pm and now all it’s break… I’ve try to reupload theme with new download of it and I’ve the same results… Im’ desperate
If I activate another theme and reactivate enfold, the problem of display was corrected for the content which is published…. For example, the white icons appears in grey circle but if I had new content or modify the published content the same problem appears a new time…
Can you help me…
Thanks- This topic was modified 11 years ago by stane.

November 27, 2013 at 1:01 am #193640Hi!
Please try to increase the allocated memory as Ismael said and set it to 128M. http://dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
I believe that will solve your issue.Regards,
YigitNovember 27, 2013 at 9:23 am #193755Same result : It doesn’t work with 128M
For example : I can’t use default editor of wordpress if my content was added in your avia editor.
With one page, for example with my home :
– If I display default editor : my page is totally empty
– If I use your avia editor : my page is fullAnd as you can see with admin access that I give you :
– if you add “hr” separation element with your avia editor you can”t see it on my website
– as you can see thumbnail of gallery on homepage is break
– etc… more and more problems- This reply was modified 11 years ago by stane.

Just to quickly clear up one thing: the advanced layout editor and the visual editor can not be used together. You can use one or the other on any single page but not both together.
That is the intended behavior and will not be changed for now.
As for creating a page and editing content I just created a test page.
The HR element is visible when there is a background color because it has been set to white in color which you’ve set in the Quick CSS in your theme options.
The home page gallery is getting modified from this css:
#top #wrap_all .avia-gallery-1 .avia-gallery-thumb a{width:25%;}
But I don’t know where that is getting added into the live site. It should be 20% width, which is what the theme has by default so you could just add that to your quick css as a short term fix.

November 27, 2013 at 10:30 am #193785Ok,
Editor
it’s very strange that we can’t use default editor if we used your theme’s editor… I have never see that…
it’s very hard for me because It’s more simple and quickly to edit page with html instead of open each one element in your editor… I think it’s not good thing for person who make website all the days…HR
For HR elements, Ok, well I search this : http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/hr/
Where it is if it’s not HR element ? As you can see it’s grey on your website and not white…THUMBNAIL GALLERY
Your fix doesn”t work (you have my admin access to see Quick Css zone)Finally : please can you delete the link to my website or publish in private.
Thanks for your help

November 27, 2013 at 10:36 am #193792The HR elements have different styles. You can select them just like you can edit any other element by clicking on the Edit Element icon on the top left of that element.
The advanced layout editor is really just a interface for editing shortcodes. But even with any other WordPress theme that uses shortcodes you wouldn’t have access to the html of the page. That is really the idea behind using a CMS – you aren’t editing the html directly.
I’ve found it to be much faster to edit pages using the advanced layout editor than any other theme available but it may not be for everyone. You still definitely have the option of just using shortcodes for most things however. I think its only the full width elements (layer slider and color section) that you need to use the advanced layout editor for directly.
Otherwise you can just build your page using shortcodes in the text tab which is as close to html as you’ll get with WordPress.

The problem is that I can’t see default editor if my page contain some code generate with Avia Editor
I think it’s very very bad limitations and I’ve never see that on all 60 wordpress themes that I used today …
It’s very important to see the Html for the professionnals,
for example :
– I used search and replace function, with your solution I can’t do that.
– If would like to copy and paste my content on another page : I can’t do that, i’m oblige to rebuild all my page with your editor
…etc. My english is very bad to explain you all the important things… but the Html code should always be accessible, it is too much complicated to work otherwise. But your choice is your choice.HR
I’ve see that but In your website HR is grey, In mine it’s white… I can’t modify this in your avia editor.THUMBNAIL GALLERY
Your fix doesn”t work (you have my admin access to see Quick Css zone)Thanks

November 27, 2013 at 6:54 pm #193991The css fix works and is in place now.
The HR is white because of the css you have in your Quick CSS.
The advanced layout editor is not in any other theme and so no, you would not have seen it anywhere else :)
No theme in the world allows you to see the raw html of the page because WordPress doesn’t work like that. This is why the second tab of the visual editor was renamed from “HTML” to “Text’ because it wasn’t actually the html for the page.
You can save pages as templates in the top right of the advanced layout editor and you can use regular shortcodes by clicking on the magic wand if you want to not use the advanced layout editor on just use the visual editor like a traditional theme would.
You can also turn on the debug field to show the raw output of the advanced layout editor following the directions here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/export-theme-settings-and-templates/#post-121115 . Just be careful since you are saving the data directly to the database and if you make a mistake when editing the data in that field there is a chance you could break the layout of the page completely.

November 29, 2013 at 9:16 am #194625November 29, 2013 at 9:44 am #194630Hey!
As Devin said, you can’t use the Default Editor and the Advance Layout Editor at the same time. You need to choose which editor you want before you edit the page. On the other hand, you can switch the Advance Layout Builder to debug mode. This will render the actual shortcode below the Avia Builder. Edit functions.php, find this code:
if(isset($avia_config['use_child_theme_functions_only'])) return;
Below, add this code:
//set builder mode to debug add_action('avia_builder_mode', "builder_set_debug"); function builder_set_debug() { return "debug"; }

November 29, 2013 at 11:14 am #194677Hey!
1.) The HR uses this selector:
.main_color div { border-color: #E1E1E1; }
2.) Please remove the CSS:
#top #wrap_all .avia-gallery-1 .avia-gallery-thumb a { width: 19% !important; }
Cheers!

You can try doing something like this for the HR elements:
.main_color span { border-color: #333; }
