    Hi guys

    For this

    http://www.mainline-energy.co.uk/home_new-with-featured-case-study/

    The client wants

    1. Menu moving down to just above the line where the slider is.

    2. In the menu when you hover over say ‘For Homes’ a light green box with curved edges surrounds it, but none of the menus appear. Then when you ‘click’ ‘For Homes’ the light green box stays there, and the menus appear, and the light green box stays there until you click out onto ‘For Business’ and then the same thing again but for ‘For Business’

    The reason they want this is they think that their customers will get confused by the hover function, and need the boxes to show show them which area of the website they are in?

    Possible?

    Many thanks

    Masten

    Hey finessecreative!

    “Error 404 – page not found” :)
    1) Can you post a screenshot?
    2) On my end, when i hover “For Homes” sub menu is visible on hover and clicking it does not make any difference. Please check your website once again and confirm that is working fine on your end as well

    Best regards,

    Hi Yigit

    Sorry page been moved

    http://www.mainline-energy.co.uk/home_new/

    1. Ok, will do
    2. Yes, that’s how it’s currently working which they don’t like. They want it adapting to work with ‘click’ in the following way:

    ‘In the menu when you hover over say ‘For Homes’ a light green box with curved edges surrounds it, but none of the menus appear. Then when you ‘click’ ‘For Homes’ the light green box stays there, and the menus appear, and the light green box stays there until you click out onto ‘For Business’ and then the same thing again but for ‘For Business’

    Thanks

    Hi!

    1) Waiting for it
    2) Sorry Masten but you are going to need to hire a freelance developer for that kind of customization as it is beyond the scope of support we can provide. You can also request quote here.

    Cheers!

    Hi Yigit

    1. All I mean to move all the menu down so it sits just above the line that borders the slider.

    2. Ok thanks, yes I thought it might need special customization. What about though – for ‘For homes’ and ‘For Business’ just changing the action so that the menu shows on ‘click’ not ‘hover’. Is that possible without special customisation?

    Thanks

    Hi!

    1) Please add following code to Quick CSS

    .main_menu { top: 45px; }
    #header .avia_mega_div { top: 66%; }
    .avia-menu-fx { bottom: 38px; }

    2) It is not possible without special customization

    Best regards,
    Yigit
