Hi there, I’m unable to make the portfolio gallary ajax feature work as per the demo. I have tried all the settings, removed all active and inactive plugins but cannot make the text window pop up, I just get the circle and arrow icon.

I am testing this locally before re-purchasing the theme for an active client.

    Any suggestions would be great.

    Hi silviouk!

Can you please give us a link to the website? Did you try to import the dummy data?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Hey Ismael, I’m working on it locally i.e. on WAMP. I imported the dummy data but the feature still doesn’t work…

    Hey!

If you have a live dev server where you can publish the site I would suggest doing that. I’ve known a lot of issues that have gotten ironed when moved from a local server to live because of differences in server settings or something like that.

uh? So you can see the text box pop up with text in it? All I get is the link icon…

OK, I mean this type of effect when the image is rolled over and the text appears – http://kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=enfold – not what happens after the portfolio is selected and viewed.

Also, do you know why the footer socket is soo big on this test site? http://www.webdes-test-site.co.uk/puglia/ ?

The only portfolio option that has text appear on Rollover is the Masonry Portfolio: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/masonry-portfolio/

Edit: your footer isn’t big in your demo, its the background showing under the socket/footer because there is not enough content to push it down.

    Hey!

If you want an ajax portfolio, create a page then switch to Advance Layout Builder. Insert the Portfolio Grid element. Look for “Link Handling” option then select “Open a preview of the entry(also known as AJAX Portfolio)”.

    Cheers!
